you can feel better

Starting therapy for teens and young adults can be scary when you’re already dealing with all the pressures of life, school, and career starts. The most important factor in the success of counseling is the relationship between you, the client, and me, “the therapist” so I strive for true connections with each person I work with.

In my practice, I strive to meet teen and young adults clients “where they are” with nothing but respect and without judgement. During our first sessions, we’ll spend some time getting to know each other so you can decide if you feel comfortable with me enough to share your struggles. Once you feel comfortable, we’ll work together to identify what matters to you and I’ll employ tools and techniques to achieve your goals.

learn to embrace who you are

How you see yourself can really shape how you feel about yourself, especially during those teen and young adult years. Negative experiences with peers, teachers, or family members can chip away at your self-confidence. Sometimes, others even create a negative narrative that we start believing about ourselves. But here's the
thing—you don't have to let those negative stories define you.

I will help you shift your self-perception. We can work together to rewrite those negative stories into positive ones, making your self-confidence shine brighter. With my support, you'll gain the tools to embrace a positive self-image and step into the world with confidence, ready to live your life to the fullest!

all about privacy in counseling

Privacy is a big deal, especially when it comes to talking about personal stuff in therapy. It's totally normal to worry that your parents or others might find out everything you share during a session. But here's the scoop – your trust and confidentiality are super important to us. You are my client and, unless I think you are in danger or are dangerous to others, I will not break your confidence. I will share everything thing others communicate to me about you. If I think it would be helpful to share some of your therapeutic details with others, I will make a plan with you BEFORE I do so. Your privacy, trust, and safety are my top priorities!
